“해남 배추, 전국과 나누다”… 해남군의회, 안양시와 사랑의 김장 나눔 동행

해남군의회(의장 이성옥)가 11월 14일(금) 안양시청 앞마당에서 열린 ‘2025 해남군–안양시 사랑의 김장김치 나눔 행사’에 참여해 해남 배추의 우수성을 알리고 두 지역 간 상생 협력을 한층 강화했다.

이번 행사는 해남군과 안양시가 공동으로 마련한 것으로, 해남 배추로 현장에서 직접 담근 김장김치를 안양시 관내 취약계층에 전달하며 지역 간 연대의 의미를 더했다.

행사에는 해남군의회 이성옥 의장, 김영환 부의장, 민경매·민찬혁 의원을 비롯해 박지원 국회의원, 명현관 해남군수, 하정필 농협해남군지부장이 참석했다.

안양시에서는 민병덕·강득구 국회의원, 최대호 안양시장, 박준모 안양시의회 의장, 문귀철 주민자치협의회장 등이 참여해 해남 배추에 대한 높은 관심을 보였다.

이성옥 의장은 “해풍을 맞고 자라 미네랄이 풍부한 해남 배추는 김장철 최고의 식재료로 손꼽힌다.”며 “해남과 안양이 함께하는 이번 나눔이 지역 간 신뢰와 연대를 넓히는 의미 있는 발걸음이 되길 바란다.”고 밝혔다.

이어 “김치의 날(11월 22일)을 앞두고 많은 분들이 믿고 찾는 해남 배추로 따뜻한 겨울 김장을 준비하시길 바란다.”며 “해남 농산물이 군민의 자부심이 될 수 있도록 의회도 적극 지원하겠다.”고 강조했다.

해남군의회는 앞으로도 해남 농산물 홍보와 지자체 간 상생 교류 확대를 위한 다양한 협력 사업을 지속 추진할 계획이다.

**“Sharing Haenam Cabbage with the Nation”
Haenam County Council Joins Kimchi-Making Event with Anyang City**
The Haenam County Council, led by Chairperson Lee Seong-ok, participated in the 2025 Haenam–Anyang Kimchi of Love Sharing Event held on November 14 (Fri) at the plaza in front of Anyang City Hall, promoting the excellence of Haenam cabbage and strengthening inter-regional cooperation.
Co-hosted by Haenam County and Anyang City, the event involved making kimchi on-site using Haenam-grown cabbage and delivering it to vulnerable residents in Anyang, highlighting solidarity and mutual support between the two regions.
The event was attended by Haenam County Council Chairperson Lee Seong-ok, Vice Chairperson Kim Young-hwan, Council Members Min Kyung-mae and Min Chan-hyeok, National Assembly Member Park Ji-won, Haenam County Mayor Myeong Hyun-kwan, and Ha Jeong-pil, Head of the Haenam Branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
Representing Anyang City were National Assembly Members Min Byung-deok and Kang Deuk-gu, Anyang Mayor Choi Dae-ho, Anyang City Council Chairperson Park Joon-mo, and Moon Gui-cheol, Chair of the Residents’ Autonomy Council, along with its members, who all expressed strong support for the high quality of Haenam cabbage.
Chairperson Lee stated,
“Grown in sea breeze and rich in minerals, Haenam cabbage is widely recognized as the best ingredient for winter kimchi. I hope this shared event between Haenam and Anyang becomes a meaningful step in expanding trust and cooperation between our regions.”
She continued,
“With Kimchi Day (November 22) approaching, I hope many people prepare their winter kimchi with our reliable and high-quality Haenam cabbage. The council will continue to actively support initiatives that strengthen the pride of Haenam residents.”
The Haenam County Council plans to continue promoting local agricultural products and expanding cooperative exchanges with other municipalities through various initiatives.
