완도해양경찰서(서장 김길규)는 다양한 세대가 함께 일하는 조직 내에서 상호 존중과 배려 문화를 확산하기 위해 지난 9월 한 달간 ‘존중 우체통’ 캠페인을 성공적으로 운영했다고 15일 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 직원들이 평소 전하지 못했던 감사와 존중의 메시지를 엽서에 담아 청사 로비에 마련된 ‘존중 우체통’에 직접 넣는 방식으로 진행됐다.

캠페인 기간 동안 총 31건의 존중 엽서가 접수되었으며, 그중 가장 많은 엽서를 받은 직원 3인(경감 위승일, 순경 강정기, 청년인턴 정송이)이 ‘존중 리더’로 선정됐다.

선정된 존중 리더들은 평소 동료들을 배려하고 긍정적인 에너지를 나누며 조직 내 모범이 된다는 평가를 받고 있다.

위승일 경감은 “그저 평소처럼 하던 일을 했을 뿐인데, 동료들의 칭찬에 오히려 힘을 얻었다.”며 “이런 따뜻한 문화가 오래 지속되길 바란다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.

완도해경 관계자는 “이번 캠페인을 통해 직원 간 관계가 더욱 돈독해지고, 존중과 배려가 자연스럽게 스며든 조직 문화가 뿌리내리길 기대한다.”고 말했다.

【Wando = Haenam News】The Wando Coast Guard (Chief Kim Gil-kyu) announced on the 15th that it successfully conducted the ‘Respect Mailbox’ campaign throughout September to promote a culture of mutual respect and consideration within its multi-generational workforce.
The campaign encouraged employees to write messages of gratitude and respect that they had not previously expressed and place them in the ‘Respect Mailbox’ set up in the lobby of the headquarters.
During the campaign, a total of 31 respect postcards were received, and three employees who received the most messages—Chief Inspector Wi Seung-il, Officer Kang Jeong-gi, and Youth Intern Jeong Song-i—were selected as ‘Respect Leaders.’
The selected Respect Leaders are recognized for consistently demonstrating consideration and positive energy toward their colleagues, serving as role models within the organization.
Chief Inspector Wi Seung-il said, “I was just doing what I normally do, but receiving compliments from my colleagues actually gave me more energy. I hope this warm culture continues for a long time.”
A Wando Coast Guard official stated, “We hope that this campaign strengthens relationships among employees and fosters an organizational culture where respect and consideration naturally take root.”
