해남의 가을밤, ‘미녀와 야수’가 온다

가을의 정취가 짙어지는 10월, 해남군민들이 특별한 문화예술 무대를 만날 기회가 찾아온다.

해남군은 오는 10월 23일 오후 7시, 해남문화예술회관 대공연장에서 발레뮤지컬 ‘미녀와 야수’ 공연을 선보인다.

이번 공연은 인천시티발레단이 디즈니의 명작 동화 ‘미녀와 야수’를 바탕으로 국내에서 유일하게 발레와 뮤지컬을 결합해 연출한 작품으로, 마법에 걸려 야수가 된 왕자 안토니오와 아버지를 대신해 야수의 포로가 된 미녀 벨의 이야기를 감동적으로 담아낸다.

공연은 예술경영지원센터가 주관하는 ‘2025 공연예술 지역유통지원 사업’에 선정되어 국비 지원을 통해 마련됐다.

지난 7월 공연된 연극 ‘세기의 사나이’에 이어 두 번째로 해남 무대에 오른다.

관람은 5세 이상 가능하며, 전석 1만원이다.

특히 해남군민은 50% 할인된 5,000원에 관람할 수 있다.

예매는 1인 최대 4매까지 가능하며, 10인 이상 단체는 전화 예약만 가능하다.

군 관계자는 “수준 높은 공연을 통해 지역 문화예술 발전에 기여하고, 더 많은 군민들이 발레의 매력을 느낄 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다.”고 전했다.
한편, 해남군은 오는 11월 28일 창작뮤지컬 ‘생텍쥐페리’ 공연도 준비 중으로, 가을 문화예술의 풍성함을 이어갈 예정이다.

A Moving Stage Where Ballet Meets Musical… October 23 at Haenam Culture & Arts Center
As the autumn atmosphere deepens in October, residents of Haenam have a special opportunity to enjoy a remarkable cultural and artistic performance.
Haenam County will present the ballet-musical “Beauty and the Beast” on October 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Haenam Culture & Arts Center Grand Theater.
The performance, by Incheon City Ballet, is a unique domestic production that combines ballet and musical, based on Disney’s classic tale “Beauty and the Beast.” It tells the moving story of Prince Antonio, who is transformed into a beast by a spell, and Belle, who becomes his prisoner in place of her father.
The show was made possible through government funding as part of the 2025 Regional Distribution Support Project for Performing Arts, organized by the Arts Management Support Center.
Following the success of the play “Man of the Century” performed in July, this marks the second production to be staged in Haenam.
The performance is open to audiences aged 5 and above, with tickets priced at 10,000 KRW. Haenam residents can enjoy a 50% discount, paying 5,000 KRW.
Reservations are limited to four tickets per person, and groups of 10 or more must reserve by phone. Tickets can be booked through the Haenam Culture & Arts Center website, Naver Reservation, or by phone.
A county official stated, “We hope this high-quality performance will contribute to the development of local arts and culture and give more residents a chance to experience the charm of ballet.”
Meanwhile, Haenam County is preparing the original musical “Saint-Exupéry” on November 28, continuing the richness of cultural arts throughout the autumn season.
