“진도를 향한 변함없는 사랑”… 해천케미칼 변화순 대표, 3년째 500만 원 고향사랑기부 ‘훈훈한 울림’

㈜해천케미칼 변화순 대표가 올해도 어김없이 진도군을 찾아 고향사랑기부금 500만 원을 기탁하며, 3년째 이어온 귀한 인연과 따뜻한 나눔을 다시 한 번 실천했다.

경기도 스마트허브 여성경영자협의회 회장이기도 한 변화순 대표는 협의회 회원들과 함께 ‘진도홍주 하이볼페스타’를 방문해 기부금을 전달했다.

변화순 대표의 발걸음은 단순한 방문이 아닌, ‘진도를 향한 꾸준한 마음’이 담긴 귀한 행보였다.

특히 변화순 대표는 2023년부터 한 해도 빠짐없이 500만 원씩 기부, 3년 동안 총 1,500만 원의 고향사랑을 실천하며 진도군과 특별한 인연을 더욱 깊고 따뜻하게 이어가고 있다.

그는 “진도는 자연도 아름답지만, 무엇보다 사람들의 정이 참 따뜻한 곳”이라며 “지역 주민들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되고 싶은 마음으로 매년 기부를 이어가고 있다.

앞으로도 진도의 발전에 함께하고 싶다”고 진심을 전했다.

김희수 진도군수는 “3년 동안 한결같은 마음으로 진도를 향한 사랑을 보여주신 변화순 대표님께 깊이 감사드린다.”며 “기부금은 군민의 복지 향상과 지역 발전을 위한 공익사업에 의미 있게 사용하겠다.”고 고마움을 전했다.

한편, 진도군 고향사랑기부제는 기부자에게 세액공제 혜택과 함께 지역 특산품 답례품이 제공돼, 지역경제 활성화에도 큰 도움이 되고 있다.

변화순 대표의 꾸준한 나눔은 ‘고향사랑기부’의 모범 사례로 지역사회에 훈훈한 감동을 전하고 있다.

“Unchanging Love for Jindo”… Byeon Hwa-soon, CEO of Haechun Chemical, Donates KRW 5 Million for the 3rd Consecutive Year
“Time may pass, but my heart for my hometown never changes.”
Byeon Hwa-soon, CEO of Haechun Chemical Co., Ltd., once again visited Jindo County this year to donate KRW 5 million to the Hometown Love Donation Program, marking her third consecutive year of heartfelt giving.
Serving also as the Chair of the Gyeonggi Smart Hub Women Entrepreneurs Association, CEO Byeon delivered the donation while visiting the “Jindo Hongju Highball Festa” with members of the association.
Her visit was more than a simple stop—it was a meaningful gesture filled with steadfast affection for Jindo.
Since 2023, CEO Byeon has donated KRW 5 million every year without fail, contributing a total of KRW 15 million over the past three years and deepening her special connection with the county through consistent generosity.
“Jindo is not only blessed with beautiful nature, but the warmth of its people is truly special,” she said. “I want to offer even a small helping hand to the local community, which is why I continue to donate each year. I will remain committed to supporting Jindo’s development.”
Jindo County Mayor Kim Hee-su expressed his gratitude, saying,
“We sincerely thank CEO Byeon for her unwavering love and generosity toward Jindo for the past three years. Her donation will be used meaningfully to improve residents’ welfare and contribute to public projects that benefit the community.”
Meanwhile, donors to the Hometown Love Donation Program receive tax credit benefits as well as local specialty products as gifts in return, helping to stimulate the regional economy.
