해남 오시아노 무인도에서 ‘야생캠핑’ 즐기자!

전라남도와 해남군이 오는 10월 17일부터 19일까지 해남 오시아노관광단지에서 열리는 ‘2025 전남관광캠핑박람회’를 통해 색다른 캠핑의 세계를 선보인다.

올해 박람회는 ‘진짜 캠핑! 지금부터 전남에서’를 주제로, 야생·농촌·해양을 결합한 이색 캠핑 체험 프로그램이 대거 마련돼 관광객들의 발길을 사로잡을 전망이다.

특히 오시아노관광단지 앞 무인도인 닭섬에서는 ‘오프그리드 라이프스타일 야생 체험’이 펼쳐진다.

참가자들은 오시아노 해변과 화봉선착장에서 낚시체험 어선을 타고 약 15분 거리의 닭섬으로 이동, 자연 속에서 불 피우기·요리하기 등 문명과 단절된 야생 캠핑을 직접 체험한다.

회차당 4명 정원으로, 20분 간격 최대 130명까지 참여 가능하다.

또한 ‘농활캠핑’은 농촌 체험과 캠핑을 결합한 프로그램으로, 화원면 무화과 농가에서 수확 체험을 즐기며 농업의 가치와 힐링을 함께 느낄 수 있다.

‘수상레저 페들 카약’은 행사 기간 중 점심시간(12~14시)을 제외한 전 시간대 운영되며, 지정된 구간을 따라 자유롭게 카약을 타며 물 위에서 바라보는 캠핑장의 풍경을 즐길 수 있다.

이와 함께 마련된 ‘해멍 힐링 체험존’에서는 여유로운 쉼과 함께 감성적인 캠핑 분위기를 만끽할 수 있다.

이번 박람회에는 캠핑 관련 100여 개 업체가 참여하고, 전국 캠핑 동호회 800팀·4,000여 명이 참여하는 대규모 캠핑대회도 열린다.

특히 18일 오후 6시 개막식에서는 마크툽, 길구봉구, HYNN(박혜원) 등 정상급 가수들이 출연하는 ‘오시아노 뮤직페스타’와 함께 화려한 불꽃쇼가 해남의 밤하늘을 수놓을 예정이다.

군 관계자는 “이번 박람회는 해남의 아름다운 자연과 캠핑을 결합한 특별한 축제의 장으로, 새로운 캠핑 문화와 전남의 관광 매력을 동시에 느낄 수 있는 기회가 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Experience “Wild Camping” on the Uninhabited Island of Ohsiano, Haenam!
2025 Jeonnam Tourism & Camping Expo offers unique programs — from Dakseom Island and farm camping to kayaking and a grand music festival
Jeollanam-do Province and Haenam County will present a new world of camping through the “2025 Jeonnam Tourism & Camping Expo”, to be held from October 17 to 19 at the Ohsiano Tourism Complex in Haenam.
This year’s expo, themed “Real Camping! Starting Now in Jeonnam,” will feature a variety of unique camping experiences that blend the wild, the rural, and the marine, drawing strong attention from visitors.
In particular, the “Off-Grid Lifestyle Wild Experience” will take place on Dakseom Island, an uninhabited island located just off the Ohsiano Tourism Complex.
Participants will board fishing tour boats from Ohsiano Beach or Hwabong Pier and travel about 15 minutes to reach the island, where they can experience true wilderness camping — cooking over an open fire using natural materials and embracing an off-grid lifestyle in harmony with nature.
Each session is limited to four participants, operating at 20-minute intervals for a total capacity of up to 130 people.
The “Farm Activity Camping” program combines rural experiences with camping, allowing visitors to harvest figs at a local farm in Hwaywon-myeon and appreciate both the value of agriculture and the joy of outdoor living.
The “Paddle Kayak Water Leisure” program runs throughout the event (excluding lunch hours from 12:00 to 14:00), giving participants the chance to paddle freely along designated routes while admiring scenic views of the campground from the water.
At the “Haemong Healing Zone,” visitors can relax and immerse themselves in a peaceful, emotional camping atmosphere.
More than 100 camping-related companies will take part in the expo, alongside a massive camping festival featuring 800 clubs and about 4,000 participants.
The opening ceremony, set for 6 p.m. on October 18, will include the Ohsiano Music Festa, with top Korean artists such as Maktub, Gilgu Bonggu, and HYNN (Park Hye-won) performing, followed by a spectacular fireworks show illuminating the Haenam night sky.
A county official stated, “This year’s expo will be a special celebration combining Haenam’s beautiful nature with camping culture, offering visitors a chance to experience a new style of camping and discover the unique charm of Jeonnam tourism.”
