진도군, ‘음식문화 개선 및 고객 친절’ 다짐 캠페인

27일 오전, 진도읍 조금시장 일원은 활기와 긴장감이 뒤섞인 현장으로 변했다.

진도군과 외식업 지부, 소비자식품위생감시원들이 모여 ‘음식문화 개선 및 고객 친절 서비스 다짐 캠페인’을 진행하면서, 상인과 시민 모두가 직접 참여하는 모습이 펼쳐졌다.

캠페인에서는 친절한 손님 응대, 3대 청결 운동, 위생 수칙 준수, 남은 음식 재사용 금지, 바가지요금 근절, 식중독 예방 수칙 등이 현수막과 안내 자료를 통해 집중 홍보됐다.

상인들은 손님맞이에 앞서 손님과 눈을 맞추고 밝은 인사를 나누며 캠페인 실천을 다짐했다.

진도군 관광과 관계자는 “이번 다짐 캠페인을 통해 지역 음식점들이 청결과 친절을 생활화하고, 관광객과 군민 모두가 안심하며 이용할 수 있는 외식 환경을 만들어 나가겠다.”고 현장에서 강조했다.

진도군은 앞으로도 관광지를 중심으로 음식문화 개선과 친절 문화를 확산시키는 다양한 활동을 이어가며 안전하고 건강한 음식문화 정착에 앞장설 계획이다.

Jindo County Holds “Food Culture Improvement & Customer Courtesy” Pledge Campaign
― Jindo Jogeum Market Transformed into a Site for Cleanliness and Courtesy ―
On the morning of the 27th, Jogeum Market in Jindo-eup came alive with energy and a sense of purpose.
Jindo County, the local restaurant association, and consumer food hygiene inspectors gathered to conduct the “Food Culture Improvement & Customer Courtesy Pledge Campaign,” with active participation from both merchants and local residents.
The campaign focused on promoting key practices through banners and informational materials, including courteous customer service, the Three Major Cleanliness Practices, compliance with hygiene regulations, prohibition of leftover food reuse, elimination of overcharging, and food poisoning prevention rules.
Merchants pledged to put the campaign into practice by greeting customers warmly and making eye contact before serving them.
A representative from Jindo County Tourism Department emphasized on-site, “Through this pledge campaign, local restaurants will make cleanliness and courtesy a daily practice, creating a safe and reliable dining environment for both tourists and residents.”
Looking ahead, Jindo County plans to continue activities centered on tourist areas to improve food culture and promote courteous service, taking the lead in establishing a safe and healthy food culture.
