진도철마도서관이 오는 8월부터 10월까지 3개월간, 진도의 문화적 자산을 책으로 만나는 특별 북큐레이션 「삼보기행-진도의 세 가지 보물을 찾는 여행」을 운영한다.

이번 기획전은 ‘그림·소리·역사’라는 주제를 통해 진도의 대표 문화유산을 다양한 독서 경험으로 풀어내는 프로그램이다.

8월에는 ‘진도의 그림’을 주제로 진도의 화가와 전통 수묵화를 조명하는 도서를 전시한다.

유아·아동도서 : 강이, 우리 집에 갈래?, 말하는 소나무, 어느 날
청소년·성인도서 : 소치 허련, 추사 김정희, 임농 등

9월에는 진도아리랑과 강강술래 등 진도의 소리를, 10월에는 삼별초 항쟁과 명량대첩 등 진도의 역사와 인물을 다룬 도서를 소개할 예정이다.

선정된 도서는 도서관 1층 전시대를 통해 직접 만나볼 수 있으며, 진도철마도서관 누리집 ‘참여마당 - 사서가 전하는 이달의 책’에서도 확인할 수 있다.

진도철마도서관 관계자는 “이번 특별기획은 진도의 그림, 소리, 역사라는 세 가지 보물을 책으로 풀어내어 지역 주민은 물론 방문객들도 진도를 깊이 있게 체험할 수 있도록 마련했다”라며, “책을 매개로 진도의 문화여행을 즐겨보시길 바란다.”라고 말했다.

Experience Jindo’s Three Treasures Through Books
― Jindo Cheolma Library to Host Special Book Curation “Sambogiyhaeng” from August to October ―
Jindo Cheolma Library will operate a special three-month book curation, “Sambogiyhaeng – A Journey to Discover Jindo’s Three Treasures”, from August to October, allowing readers to explore Jindo’s cultural assets through books.
This special exhibition features the theme of “Painting, Sound, and History”, offering diverse reading experiences that highlight Jindo’s representative cultural heritage.
In August, the focus is on “Jindo’s Paintings”, with selected books spotlighting local painters and traditional ink wash paintings.
Children’s Books: Gang-i, Shall We Go Home?, Talking Pine Tree, One Day
Teen and Adult Books: Sochi Heo Ryeon, Chusa Kim Jeonghui, Imnong, etc.
In September, books related to Jindo’s Sounds, such as Jindo Arirang and Ganggangsullae, will be featured, and in October, the curation will introduce books on Jindo’s History and Figures, including the Sambyeolcho Rebellion and the Battle of Myeongnyang.
Selected books can be viewed at the exhibition stand on the first floor of the library, and details are also available on the Jindo Cheolma Library website under “Participation – Books Recommended by Librarians of the Month”.
A library official said, “This special curation presents Jindo’s three treasures—painting, sound, and history—through books, enabling both local residents and visitors to experience Jindo more deeply. We hope everyone enjoys a cultural journey through books.”
