“고향을 향한 변함없는 마음”

진도의 한 여름날, 고향을 잊지 않은 따뜻한 손길이 전해졌다.

지난 8월 22일, ㈜우리종합기술 윤지현 고문과 임직원 67명이 한마음으로 모은 1,380만 원, 그리고 ㈜이룸바이오 조진형 대표의 100만 원이 ‘고향사랑기부금’으로 진도군에 전달됐다.

이번 기부는 단순한 금액이 아니라, 고향을 향한 진심 어린 마음이 담겨 있다.

종합건설엔지니어링 전문 기업인 ㈜우리종합기술은 건설사업관리와 상·하수도 설계 등 다양한 기술 서비스를 제공하는 회사지만, 윤지현 고문과 임직원들에게는 ‘고향 사랑’이 가장 큰 가치였다.

특히 진도 출신인 윤 고문은 지난 2016년부터 매년 1,000만 원을 ‘진도군인재육성장학금’으로 꾸준히 기탁해왔다.

또한 사회복지공동모금에도 참여하며, 나눔문화 확산의 길을 스스로 걸어왔다.

이번 기부 역시 “혼자가 아니라 함께 나누자”는 뜻에 공감한 임직원들이 자발적으로 참여하면서 더 큰 울림을 주고 있다.

㈜이룸바이오 역시 진도와의 인연을 소중히 이어가고 있다.

전국 보건소와 매립장에 의료용 살충제와 위생용품을 공급하는 이 기업은 매년 진도군을 비롯한 여러 지자체에 정성을 보태며 ‘지역사랑 실천 기업’으로 자리매김하고 있다.

김희수 진도군수는 “고향을 잊지 않고 따뜻한 마음을 보내주신 윤지현 고문과 우리종합기술 임직원분들, 그리고 이룸바이오 조진형 대표님께 깊은 감사를 드린다.”며, “기부금은 군민이 직접 체감할 수 있는 복리증진과 지역 활성화 사업에 소중히 쓰이도록 하겠다.”고 말했다.

한편, 고향사랑기부제는 개인이 본인 주소지를 제외한 지자체에 연간 최대 2,000만 원까지 기부할 수 있는 제도다.

기부자는 세액공제 혜택과 함께 기부금 30% 상당의 답례품을 받을 수 있어, ‘나눔과 보람’을 동시에 느낄 수 있다.

“An Unchanging Love for Hometown”
Wooree Comprehensive Engineering & Iroom Bio Make Heartfelt Donations to Jindo County
On a midsummer day in Jindo, a warm gesture reached the hometown that had never been forgotten.
On August 22, Mr. Ji-Hyun Yoon, Advisor of Wooree Comprehensive Engineering, together with 67 employees, contributed KRW 13.8 million, while Mr. Jin-Hyung Cho, CEO of Iroom Bio, donated KRW 1 million to the Hometown Love Donation Program of Jindo County.
This donation represents more than just a monetary contribution — it is a sincere expression of love for their hometown.
Wooree Comprehensive Engineering, a professional construction engineering company specializing in project management, water supply and sewage system design, and technical diagnostics, holds “love for hometown” as a core value beyond its business achievements.
Notably, Advisor Yoon, who hails from Jindo, has consistently donated KRW 10 million each year since 2016 to the Jindo County Scholarship Foundation, and has also supported the Community Chest of Korea, taking the lead in spreading the culture of sharing. This latest donation carried even greater significance, as employees voluntarily joined with the belief that “sharing is more meaningful when done together.”
Iroom Bio also continues to cherish its bond with Jindo. The company, which supplies medical insecticides and sanitary products to public health centers and landfill sites nationwide, has been recognized as a “community-loving enterprise” by steadily donating to Jindo County and various local governments each year.
Mr. Hee-Soo Kim, Mayor of Jindo County, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I extend my heartfelt thanks to Advisor Ji-Hyun Yoon, the employees of Wooree Comprehensive Engineering, and CEO Jin-Hyung Cho of Iroom Bio for their warm generosity toward their hometown. The donations will be used meaningfully to improve public welfare and vitalize our community so that all residents can truly feel the benefits.”
Meanwhile, the Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate up to KRW 20 million annually to any local government other than the one in which they reside. Donors receive both tax deductions and return gifts worth up to 30% of their donation, making it a system that combines generosity with tangible rewards.
