진도군은 8월 26일부터 28일까지 공설운동장에서 ‘2025 전남 청년 4-H회원 야영 교육’을 성황리에 개최했다.

이번 행사에는 도내 21개 시군 청년 4-H회원 500여 명과 김영록 전라남도지사, 김희수 진도군수, 허승원 4-H연합회장 등이 참석했다.

‘AI 과학영농 시대! 청년 4-H가 선도한다!’를 주제로 열린 교육에서는 시군별 농업 현황과 청년 창업 사례를 공유하며 협력 방안을 모색했다.

참가자들은 한마음 음악회와 체육활동, 봉화식을 통해 협동심과 공동체 의식을 다졌으며, 지역 농산물을 활용한 가공 제품 전시관에서는 청년 농업인들의 창의적 아이디어를 확인할 수 있었다.

김희수 진도군수는 “청년 4-H회원들은 농촌의 미래를 열어가는 소중한 주역이며, AI와 과학영농 시대를 선도하는 핵심 인력”이라고 강조했다.

이번 야영 교육은 청년 농업인이 미래 농촌 지도자로 성장할 발판을 마련했다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있다.

Jindo Hosts Successful Youth 4-H Camping Education for Jeonnam Members
Jindo County successfully held the 2025 Jeonnam Youth 4-H Members Camping Education from August 26 to 28 at the public sports ground.
About 500 youth 4-H members from 21 cities and counties across the province attended, along with Jeonnam Governor Kim Young-rok, Jindo County Mayor Kim Hee-soo, and 4-H Association President Heo Seung-won.
Under the theme, “Leading the Era of AI Scientific Farming! Youth 4-H Takes the Lead,” participants shared agricultural conditions and youth entrepreneurship cases from their regions and explored ways to collaborate.
Participants strengthened their teamwork and community spirit through a Harmony Concert, sports activities, and a bonfire ceremony. An exhibition showcasing processed products made from local agricultural produce highlighted the creative ideas and capabilities of young farmers.
Mayor Kim Hee-soo emphasized, “Youth 4-H members are valuable contributors to the future of rural communities and key personnel leading the AI and scientific farming era.”
This camping education provided a meaningful opportunity for young farmers to lay the foundation for becoming future rural leaders.
