국립농산물품질관리원 전남지원 진도사무소(사무소장 양성욱, 이하 ‘진도 농관원’)가 정부의 수확기 쌀 수급 안정 대책에 발맞춰 10월부터 12월 말까지 진도군 관내 34개 검사장에서 ‘2025년산 공공비축 포대벼 매입검사’를 본격 실시한다.

올해 진도군의 공공비축 포대벼 검사물량은 총 9,158톤(조곡 기준)으로, 이 중 일반벼 5,004톤, 친환경벼 2,215톤, 가루쌀벼 1,939톤이 포함된다.

매입 품종은 일반벼 ‘새청무’, ‘강대찬’, 그리고 가루쌀벼 ‘바로미2’다.

첫 매입검사는 지난 10월 30일 군내면에서 시작되었으며, 잦은 강우로 수확기가 예년보다 약 10일가량 늦어져 본격적인 매입은 11월 3일 이후 진행될 전망이다.

진도 농관원은 매입검사의 정확성과 신뢰성 확보를 위해 검사관 4명을 대상으로 농산물 검사기술 교육(10월 22~23일)을 실시하고, 벼 품위 점검도 병행하는 등 철저한 사전 준비에 나섰다.

양성욱 사무소장은 “출하 농가들은 포장재, 중량, 수분 등 검사 규격을 반드시 확인해주시길 바란다.”며 “정확하고 공정한 매입검사를 통해 농가의 신뢰를 지키고 쌀 수급 안정에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.

“Not a Single Grain Wasted!” — Jindo NAQS Launches Full-Scale Inspection of 2025 Public Rice Procurement
The Jindo Office of the National Agricultural Products Quality Management Service (Director Yang Sung-wook) announced that, in line with the government’s rice supply stabilization measures for the harvest season, it will conduct inspections for the 2025 public rice procurement program at 34 inspection sites across Jindo County from October through the end of December.
This year, the total inspection volume for Jindo County’s public rice procurement amounts to 9,158 tons (unhulled basis), including 5,004 tons of ordinary rice, 2,215 tons of eco-friendly rice, and 1,939 tons of powdered rice varieties.
The procurement varieties include ‘Saechungmu’ and ‘Gangdaechan’ for ordinary rice, and ‘Baromi 2’ for powdered rice.
The first inspection began on October 30 in Gunnae-myeon, and due to frequent rainfall delaying the harvest by about ten days compared to previous years, full-scale inspections are expected to start after November 3.
To ensure accuracy and reliability in the inspection process, the Jindo NAQS conducted technical training for four agricultural inspectors (October 22–23) and carried out preliminary rice quality checks in advance.
Director Yang Sung-wook stated,
“We ask all farmers to double-check that their packaging, weight, and moisture levels meet inspection standards. We will do our utmost to ensure fair and precise inspections, maintaining farmers’ trust and contributing to the stabilization of the rice supply.”
