해남소방서(서장 박춘천)는 최근 해남 두륜산 도립공원 일원에서 열린 ‘2025 해남 미남축제’ 기간 동안 운영한 ‘119소방안전체험부스’를 성황리에 마무리했다.

이번 체험부스는 어린이부터 어른까지 가족 단위 관람객이 함께 참여하며, 일상 속 위급상황에서 대처할 수 있는 응급처치와 안전수칙을 배우는 유익한 시간으로 큰 호응을 얻었다.

주요 프로그램으로는 심폐소생술(CPR) 실습, 자동심장충격기(AED) 사용법, 응급처치법 안내, 모형 소화기 및 옥내소화전 체험 등이 진행됐다.

또한, 실제 화재현장 등에서 활약하는 소방공무원들의 모습을 담은 사진전도 함께 열려 관람객들에게 깊은 인상을 남겼다.

박춘천 해남소방서장은 “축제장을 찾은 많은 군민과 관광객들이 직접 체험하며 소방안전의 중요성을 자연스럽게 느낄 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 체험 중심의 홍보활동을 강화해 지역사회 안전문화 확산에 앞장서겠다.”고 말했다.

한편 해남소방서는 지역 행사와 연계한 생활 속 안전교육과 체험활동을 지속적으로 추진하며, 군민이 체감하는 ‘안전한 해남 만들기’에 앞장서고 있다.

Haenam Fire Station’s 119 Safety Experience Booth Draws a Big Crowd at the Minam Festival
Haenam Fire Station (Chief Park Chun-cheon) successfully wrapped up its “119 Fire Safety Experience Booth” held during the 2025 Haenam Minam Festival at Duryunsan Provincial Park.
The experience booth received an enthusiastic response as visitors of all ages — from children to adults — participated together, learning essential first aid and safety skills to respond effectively in everyday emergency situations.
Key programs included hands-on CPR training, automated external defibrillator (AED) usage, first aid demonstrations, and fire extinguisher and indoor fire hydrant simulations. In addition, a photo exhibition showcasing real-life scenes of firefighters in action at various emergency sites offered visitors a deeper appreciation for their dedication.
Chief Park Chun-cheon stated, “Many residents and tourists enjoyed participating in the hands-on activities, which helped them naturally understand the importance of fire safety. We will continue promoting experience-based safety education to spread a stronger safety culture throughout the community.”
Meanwhile, Haenam Fire Station continues to carry out safety education and interactive programs linked to local events, leading efforts to create a ‘Safer Haenam’ that residents can truly feel in their daily lives.
