전라남도는 2026년도 지방공무원 신규 임용시험 계획을 공고하고, 총 1,822명을 선발한다고 밝혔다.
이는 지난해보다 310명 증가한 규모로, 행정환경 변화와 도민 생활 밀착형 정책 수요에 선제적으로 대응하기 위한 인력 확충이다.

이번 채용의 핵심은 ‘통합 돌봄 인력 강화’다.

오는 3월 27일, 「의료·요양 등 지역 돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률」이 본격 시행됨에 따라, 전남도는 지역 중심 통합 돌봄 체계를 전담할 간호직·보건직·사회복지직 공무원 약 314명을 신규 채용할 계획이다.

이는 급속한 고령화로 증가하는 의료·요양·돌봄 수요에 대응해, 도민이 현장에서 체감할 수 있는 통합형 복지서비스 제공 기반을 구축하겠다는 전략적 인사 방향이다.

전남도는 이번 채용을 통해 단순한 인력 보강을 넘어, 즉시 현장 투입이 가능한 전문 행정인력 확보와 조직의 정책 대응력을 동시에 강화한다는 방침이다.
이를 위해 공정·투명·정확한 시험 운영 원칙을 유지하고, 변화하는 행정 수요에 맞춰 공개경쟁·경력경쟁·연구·지도직·임기제 공무원 등 다양한 채용 방식을 병행한다.

수험생 편의와 알권리 보장도 대폭 강화된다.

전남도는 시험정보 누리집을 전면 개편해 직관적인 정보 제공, 응시율·합격선 등 채용 관련 데이터 공개, 수험생 중심 안내 체계를 구축할 계획이다.
이를 통해 보다 안정적이고 예측 가능한 수험 환경을 조성하겠다는 구상이다.

전남도 관계자는 “이번 채용은 단순한 인력 충원이 아니라, 돌봄·안전·복지 등 도민 삶과 직결되는 핵심 행정 역량을 강화하기 위한 구조적 투자”라며 “수험생에게는 공정한 시험 운영과 정확한 정보 제공으로 신뢰받는 채용 행정을 구현하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

한편, 2026년도 지방공무원 임용시험의 세부 일정과 직렬별 선발 계획은 전남도 및 각 시·군 누리집 시험정보란을 통해 순차적으로 안내될 예정이다.

Preparing in Earnest for the Era of Integrated Care
Jeollanam-do is moving forward with a large-scale recruitment of new local government officials in response to the transition to a super-aged society and shifts in national care policies.
Jeollanam-do announced that it has released the 2026 Local Government Civil Service Recruitment Plan, under which a total of 1,822 officials will be hired. This represents an increase of 310 positions compared to the previous year, aimed at proactively responding to changes in the administrative environment and growing demand for policies closely tied to residents’ daily lives.
The core focus of this recruitment is the strengthening of integrated care personnel.
With the Act on Integrated Support for Medical Care, Long-Term Care, and Community Care set to take effect on March 27, Jeonnam Province plans to recruit approximately 314 public officials in nursing, public health, and social welfare positions who will be dedicated to operating community-based integrated care systems.
This strategy is intended to address the rapidly increasing demand for medical, long-term care, and welfare services driven by population aging, while building a foundation for integrated welfare services that residents can tangibly experience at the local level.
Through this recruitment, Jeonnam Province aims to go beyond simple workforce expansion by securing professional administrative personnel capable of immediate deployment in the field, thereby strengthening both organizational stability and policy responsiveness. To this end, the province will maintain principles of fair, transparent, and accurate examination management, while implementing a range of recruitment methods—including open competitive exams, career-based recruitment, research and instructional positions, and fixed-term appointments—to meet diverse administrative needs.
Measures to enhance examinee convenience and the public’s right to information will also be significantly strengthened.
Jeonnam Province plans to comprehensively revamp its civil service examination information website, providing more intuitive guidance, disclosing key recruitment data such as application rates and cut-off scores, and establishing an examinee-centered information system. These efforts are aimed at creating a more stable and predictable examination environment.
A provincial official stated, “This recruitment is not merely about increasing personnel numbers, but a structural investment to strengthen core administrative capacities directly linked to residents’ lives, including care, safety, and welfare,” adding, “We will actively support examinees by ensuring fair examination management and accurate information, thereby implementing a recruitment system that earns public trust.”
Meanwhile, detailed schedules and position-specific recruitment plans for the 2026 local government civil service examinations will be announced sequentially through the Jeonnam Provincial Government website and the examination information pages of individual cities and counties.
