해남군이 지역 농업의 미래를 이끌 청년농업인 발굴·육성에 본격 시동을 걸었다.
군은 2026년도 청년농업인 영농정착 지원 사업 신청 접수를 오는 12월 11일까지 온라인으로 진행하며, 안정적 정착을 돕기 위한 집중 지원에 나선다.
이번 사업은 영농 초기 불안정한 소득 구조를 보완하고, 청년들이 조기에 자립 기반을 구축하도록 돕는 대표 청년농업 지원정책이다.
신청 자격은 18세~39세 이하, 독립 영농 3년 이하 또는 영농 예정 청년으로, 서면 평가와 면접 평가를 통해 최종 대상자를 선발한다.
선발된 청년농업인에게는 영농 경력에 따라 월 90만~110만 원, 최대 3년간 영농정착금이 지급되며, 선정 연도를 포함해 최대 5억 원의 후계농 육성자금(융자) 지원도 가능하다.
사업 지침 확인은 해남군농업기술센터 홈페이지, 신청은 농림사업정보시스템(Agrix)을 통해 온라인으로만 가능하다.
군 관계자는 “지금 청년의 선택이 해남 농업의 10년 후를 결정한다.”며
“해남군은 청년농업인이 안정적으로 뿌리내릴 수 있도록 역량강화 교육, 현장 맞춤 지도, 정착 지원금 지원을 지속 확대해 청년이 돌아오는 농업·농촌을 만들겠다.”고 강조했다.
해남군은 이번 사업을 통해 지역에 새로운 활력을 불어넣을 젊고 유능한 청년농업인이 적극 참여해 줄 것을 당부했다.

**“Seize the Future of Haenam’s Youth Agriculture!”
2026 Young Farmer Settlement Support Project Launches — Up to 1.1 Million KRW per Month for 3 Years**
Haenam-gun has officially launched its initiative to discover and nurture young farmers who will lead the future of local agriculture.
The county is receiving online applications for the 2026 Young Farmer Settlement Support Project until December 11, providing intensive support to help young farmers establish stable foundations in their early farming years.
This program is a key youth agriculture policy designed to strengthen income stability during the early stages of farming and ensure that young farmers can build economic independence more quickly.
Eligibility is open to individuals aged 18 to 39, with less than three years of independent farming experience or those planning to begin farming. Final selections will be made through document screening and interviews.
Selected young farmers will receive a monthly settlement allowance of 900,000 to 1.1 million KRW, depending on farming experience, for up to three years. In addition, they may qualify for up to 500 million KRW in Young Successor Farmer Loans, including the selection year.
Program guidelines can be found on the Haenam Agricultural Technology Center website, and applications must be submitted online through the Agricultural Business Information System (Agrix).
A county official stated:
“The choices our young people make today will shape Haenam’s agriculture ten years from now.
Haenam-gun will continue to expand support such as capacity-building programs, field-based guidance, and settlement subsidies to ensure that young farmers can take root with stability and create an agricultural community where youth return.”
