진도군은 지난 10월 1일 진도군장애인종합복지관(관장 신창호) 주관으로 지역 장애인 약 70명이 참여한 가운데 ‘추석맞이 놀이 한마당’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 추석 명절을 맞아 장애인들이 서로 어울리며 공동체 문화를 체험할 수 있도록 마련됐다.
참가자들은 윷놀이, 투호 등 전통 민속놀이와 다양한 체험활동을 즐기며 뜻깊은 시간을 보냈다.
행사에 참여한 장애인들은 놀이를 통해 웃음을 나누고 서로 소통하는 시간을 가졌으며, 화목한 분위기 속에서 즐거움을 만끽했다.
진도군장애인종합복지관 신창호 관장은 “장애인분들이 명절의 즐거움과 따뜻한 정을 함께 나눌 수 있도록 이번 행사를 마련했다”며, “앞으로도 다양한 프로그램을 통해 모두가 함께하는 복지 공동체를 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
진도군 주민복지과 관계자는 “장애인들이 함께 어울릴 수 있는 자리를 지속적으로 확대하고, 군민이 주인이 되는 포용적 문화를 확산하는 데 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
한편, 진도군장애인종합복지관은 매년 명절맞이 행사와 다양한 문화·여가 활동을 운영하며 지역 장애인의 복지 향상과 사회 통합에 힘쓰고 있다.

Jindo County Holds “Chuseok Traditional Games Festival”
Traditional games such as Yutnori and Tuho provide a time for interaction and communication
Jindo County announced that on October 1, the Jindo County Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled (Director Shin Chang-ho) hosted the “Chuseok Traditional Games Festival,” attended by approximately 70 local people with disabilities.
The event was organized to allow participants to enjoy community culture and interact with one another during the Chuseok holiday.
Participants enjoyed traditional Korean games such as Yutnori and Tuho, along with various experiential activities, spending a meaningful and enjoyable time together.
People with disabilities attending the event shared laughter and communicated with one another while enjoying a harmonious and friendly atmosphere.
Shin Chang-ho, Director of the Jindo County Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, said, “We organized this event so that people with disabilities could share the joy of the holiday and warm feelings with one another. We will continue to create an inclusive welfare community through various programs.”
A representative from the Jindo County Resident Welfare Division added, “We will continue to expand opportunities for people with disabilities to interact with each other and strive to promote an inclusive culture where all residents can take part.”
Meanwhile, the Jindo County Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled operates annual holiday events, as well as various cultural and leisure activities, to enhance the welfare of local people with disabilities and promote social integration.
