지난 22일 취임한 제20대 주영국 전남소방본부장이 26일 해남소방서를 첫 공식 방문해 현장의 목소리를 경청했다.

이번 방문은 소방 현안을 직접 파악하고 지역 맞춤형 소방정책 방향을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다. 주 본부장은 박춘천 해남소방서장으로부터 주요 업무와 정책 현안, 관내 중점관리대상 시설 안전관리, 긴급 상황 대응 방안 등을 보고받고, 이어 현장 부서 직원들과의 간담회를 통해 건의사항과 애로점을 청취했다.

주 본부장은 “철저한 현장 중심의 안전관리와 더불어 조직 내 소통과 협력이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “해남소방서가 전남도민의 안전 지킴이로서 중추적인 역할을 해주길 기대한다.”고 강조했다.

또한 지역 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 소방서비스 제공과 긴밀한 협력 체계 구축을 주문하며, 직원들의 노고를 격려했다.

해남소방서는 “본부장님의 방문이 큰 힘이 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역 안전 확보와 재난 예방을 위해 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

20th Chief of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, Joo Young-guk, Makes First Visit to Haenam Fire Station After Taking Office
“Seeing through the eyes of the people, thinking from the people’s perspective.”
Joo Young-guk, who was inaugurated as the 20th Chief of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on September 22, made his first official visit to Haenam Fire Station on the 26th to listen to voices from the field.
The visit was arranged to directly assess local firefighting issues and explore tailored policy directions for the region. Chief Joo received a briefing from Haenam Fire Chief Park Chun-cheon on key tasks and policy priorities, safety management of high-risk facilities within the jurisdiction, and emergency response strategies. He also held a meeting with frontline staff to hear their suggestions and challenges.
Chief Joo emphasized, “Thorough, field-oriented safety management as well as communication and cooperation within the organization are of utmost importance. I look forward to Haenam Fire Station playing a pivotal role as the guardian of safety for Jeonnam residents.”
He also called for the provision of customized firefighting services tailored to local needs and for the strengthening of close cooperative systems, while commending the staff for their dedicated efforts.
Haenam Fire Station stated, “The Chief’s visit has given us great encouragement. We will continue to do our utmost to ensure regional safety and to prevent disasters.”
