해남군은 개학 이후 수두와 유행성이하선염 등 호흡기 감염병 발생이 보고됨에 따라 각별한 주의를 당부하고 있다.
수두는 수포, 유행성이하선염은 침샘 부종과 발열을 동반하며 전염력이 높다.
발열, 발진, 침샘 부기 등 증상이 나타나면 즉시 의료기관을 방문하고, 전염기간 동안 등교·출석을 삼가야 한다.
손 씻기, 기침 예절, 마스크 착용 등 예방수칙 준수가 중요하며, 학부모와 교직원의 관심과 협조가 필요하다.

Haenam County has urged heightened caution as cases of respiratory infectious diseases, including chickenpox and mumps, have been reported following the start of the new school term.
Chickenpox causes skin blisters, while mumps is accompanied by swollen salivary glands and fever, both of which are highly contagious.
If symptoms such as fever, rash, or swollen salivary glands appear, individuals should visit a medical facility immediately and refrain from attending school or childcare centers during the contagious period.
Strict adherence to preventive measures—such as handwashing, practicing proper cough etiquette, and wearing masks—is essential. The county emphasized that the attention and cooperation of parents and school staff are crucial.
