해남군 교육재단(이사장 명현관)은 지난 8월 13일부터 14일까지 광주교육대학교에서 **‘드림크래프트 진로캠프’**를 성황리에 개최했다.
이번 캠프는 해남군 교육특구사업의 일환으로, 이주배경 청소년들의 진로 탐색과 역량 강화를 지원하기 위해 마련되었다.
캠프에는 총 21명의 청소년이 참여해 AI 기반 직업 체험, 미래산업 분야 탐구 활동, 적성 이해 프로그램, 셀프 리더십 훈련, 자기주도 1:1 코칭·컨설팅 등 다채로운 프로그램에 참여했다.
참가자들은 이를 통해 자신의 강점과 잠재력 발견, 자기 주도적 학습 태도 형성, 진로 목표 구체화라는 성과를 거두었다.
특히, 1:1 맞춤형 진로·진학 컨설팅을 통해 참가 학생들은 구체적 진로 설계 방안을 마련하며 자신감을 얻었다.
한 학생은 “직접 체험을 통해 꿈을 구체화할 수 있었고, 컨설팅 과정에서 진학 방향을 잡을 수 있었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 해남군 교육재단과 해남군 가족센터 간 업무협약을
통해 운영되어, 단순한 체험형 교육을 넘어 청소년들이 스스로 삶의 방향성을 정립할 수 있도록 지원한 점에서 의미가 크다.
교육재단 관계자는 “이번 진로캠프는 이주배경 청소년들이 글로벌 인재로 성장할 수 있는 토대를 마련한 소중한 경험이었다.”며, “앞으로도 지역 내 다양한 교육기관 및 단체와 협력해 청소년들에게 체계적이고 지속 가능한 진로·진학 지원을 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
이번 ‘드림크래프트 진로캠프’는 해남군 교육재단이 추진하는 이주배경 특화 교육 프로그램의 대표 사례로, 향후 더 많은 청소년들에게 확대 적용될 예정이다.

Haenam Education Foundation Successfully Concludes Career Camp for Youths with Migrant Backgrounds
Two-day program with 21 participants strengthens self-growth and career planning skills
The Haenam Education Foundation (Chairman Myung Hyun-gwan) successfully hosted the “Dream Craft Career Camp” at Gwangju National University of Education from August 13 to 14.
The camp was organized as part of Haenam’s Education Special Zone Project to support career exploration and capacity building among youths from migrant backgrounds.
A total of 21 students participated in diverse programs, including AI-based career experiences, future industry exploration, aptitude analysis, self-leadership training, and one-on-one coaching and consulting. Through these activities, participants achieved meaningful outcomes such as discovering their strengths and potential, developing self-directed learning attitudes, and clarifying their career goals.
In particular, the one-on-one tailored career and academic consulting enabled students to establish concrete career pathways while gaining confidence. One participant remarked, “Through hands-on experience, I was able to give shape to my dreams, and the consulting sessions helped me set a clear direction for my academic future.”
The program was jointly implemented through a cooperation agreement between the Haenam Education Foundation and the Haenam Family Center. Beyond providing career experiences, the initiative was designed to help youths establish a broader sense of life direction, making the camp highly meaningful.
A foundation official stated, “This career camp provided a valuable opportunity for migrant-background youths to lay the groundwork for becoming global talents. We will continue to expand systematic and sustainable support for their career and academic development by working closely with various educational institutions and organizations in the region.”
The “Dream Craft Career Camp” stands as a representative example of Haenam Education Foundation’s specialized education programs for youths with migrant backgrounds, and the foundation plans to expand its reach to benefit even more students in the future.
