해남군이 지역에서 생산된 로컬푸드를 활용해 취약계층에 영양맞춤 특식을 제공한다.

군은 (재)해남먹거리통합지원센터가 2025년 푸드플랜 효과 실증 프로그램 지원사업 공모에 선정됨에 따라, 해남지역자활센터와 함께 중증장애인 가정과 아동급식 지원 가구 등 200가구를 대상으로 ‘영양맞춤 특식제공 사업’을 추진하고 있다.

이번 사업은 오는 10월까지 총 4차례 진행되며, 해남에서 재배·생산한 제철 농축수산물로 특식을 구성해 당일 조리·배송한다. 배송은 지역자활센터와 협업해 읍·면 단위 취약계층 가정에 직접 전달된다.

앞서 해남먹거리통합지원센터와 해남지역자활센터는 업무협약을 체결하고, 로컬푸드를 활용한 복지서비스 제공과 농수산물 판로 확대, 지역경제 활성화를 위해 협력하기로 했다.

한편, 해남군은 2021년 로컬푸드 직매장을 개장해 현재 652농가가 참여하고 있으며, 군민들에게 신선하고 다양한 먹거리를 공급하며 지역경제에도 활력을 불어넣고 있다.

군 관계자는 “이번 사업은 지역 농산물을 활용해 취약계층의 먹거리 복지를 실현하는 뜻깊은 사업”이라며 “앞으로도 건강한 먹거리를 안정적으로 제공해 농가와 군민이 함께 상생할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”고 밝혔다.

Haenam County Provides Local Food-Based Nutritious Meals for Vulnerable Groups
― Haenam Food Integrated Support Center Selected for National Food Plan Effect Verification Project ―
Haenam County is providing nutritious, customized meals made with locally produced food to vulnerable households.
Following the selection of the Haenam Food Integrated Support Center for the 2025 National Food Plan Effect Verification Program, the county is working with the Haenam Self-Support Center to deliver meals to 200 households, including families with severely disabled members and children receiving meal support.
The project, running until October, will be carried out in four rounds. Meals are prepared with seasonal local agricultural, livestock, and marine products and are cooked and delivered on the same day. Deliveries are made in cooperation with the Self-Support Center, which distributes the meals directly to households across towns and villages.
Earlier, the Haenam Food Integrated Support Center and the Haenam Self-Support Center signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation in providing welfare services with local food, expanding sales channels for agricultural and fishery products, and revitalizing the local economy.
Since opening its Local Food Direct Store in 2021, Haenam County has attracted the participation of 652 farms, supplying residents with fresh, diverse local food while contributing to the regional economy.
A county official stated, “This project is meaningful as it enables us to realize food welfare for vulnerable groups by utilizing local agricultural products. We will continue our efforts to ensure that healthy, farm-fresh food is provided reliably to residents while supporting mutual growth between farmers and the community.”
