진도군이 최근 일부 음식점의 불친절 논란으로 인해 지역 이미지가 훼손된 데 따라, 관광객 신뢰 회복과 친절 문화 정착을 위해 ‘음식점 친절 서비스교육 및 결의대회’를 개최했다.

이번 행사는 10월 16일 진도군청 대회의실에서 위생업소 영업주 300여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘진도군 음식점, 친절로 다시 태어납니다.’를 주제로 열렸다.

행사는 친절 서비스 교육, 음식문화 개선 및 친절 다짐 결의문 낭독, 거리 행진(캠페인) 순으로 진행됐다.

참석한 영업주들은 “친절 실천과 청결한 위생 관리로 손님이 먼저 찾는 진도를 만들겠다.”고 다짐했다.

특히 거리 행진에서는 ‘불친절 NO! 친절은 YES!’, ‘맛도 서비스도 진심 100%’, ‘감동 서비스로 다시 찾는 진도’ 등 구호를 외치며 관광객 맞이 친절 실천 분위기를 확산시켰다.

진도군 관계자는 “이번 교육과 결의대회를 계기로 음식점 종사자들의 서비스 의식이 한층 높아지고, 관광객이 다시 찾고 싶은 ‘친절한 진도’의 이미지가 회복되길 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.

– Hosts Service Education and Resolution Rally for Food Service Establishments –

Jindo County has held a “Restaurant Service Education and Resolution Rally” to restore its image and rebuild tourist trust following recent reports of discourteous behavior at some local restaurants.

The event took place on October 16 at the Jindo County Office main conference hall, with about 300 restaurant owners participating under the theme, *“Jindo Restaurants: Reborn with Kindness.”*

The program included sessions on customer service education, a declaration ceremony to improve dining culture and promote friendliness, and a public street campaign.

Participants pledged to “practice kindness and maintain cleanliness to make Jindo a destination visitors choose first.”

During the street campaign, business owners chanted slogans such as “No to Rudeness, Yes to Kindness!”, “100% Sincerity in Taste and Service,” and “Jindo—A Place You’ll Want to Visit Again with Heartfelt Service,” helping spread the spirit of friendly hospitality.

A Jindo County official stated, “We hope this training and rally will raise awareness of service quality among restaurant staff and help restore Jindo’s image as a welcoming destination that tourists will want to revisit.”
